The owners were incredibly friendly and shared great local insights, making my stay feel warm and personal.
The vibrant pub atmosphere below was a bit too lively for my liking, particularly on weekends.

The bed, while a bit snug for two, did the trick for a couple of nights, and the private bathroom feature was a solid bonus. Hand sanitizer in the bathroom scored a few points for hygiene in the current times.
Location leaves something to be desired. it feels a bit away from Pembroke, and on a Saturday night, the lively atmosphere below makes for a noisy evening.

Lovely owner and comfortable room
The room was spotless and well-decorated, with a comfy bed and all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing lots of useful information about local attractions and dining options. the hotel was above a noisy pub which made it hard to get a good night's sleep with music and chatter lingering late into the night.

Spent 12 nights at Welshman’s Arms, and overall, it was a great stay. The rooms are newly refurbished, and the touches are impressive. The bed was super comfy, making it a solid choice after long days. Fresh towels came every other day, and the private bathroom added that bonus of convenience. Location-wise, it’s perfect for accessing local amenities and even catching the ferry. I had a few chatty evenings with the landlord and landlady. they were very approachable and helpful. One thing to note is the vibrancy of the pub atmosphere. It can get lively, especially on weekends, so it’s wise to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Nonetheless, it added a fun vibe to the stay, especially if you enjoy a bustling environment.

The food was delightful, featuring assorted muffins, and the cozy bar area led to enjoyable chats with the friendly staff. Alarms at 2am and persistent dog barking contributed to a restless night, leaving me relieved to leave the key without clear instructions.

The room was fabulously refurbished, fresh towels every other day, and the location was a gem for local amenities. Plus, the landlords were super friendly and helpful—made me feel right at home!
But honestly, the bed was a tad snug for two—might need a Tetris master to fit! And hand sanitizer in the bathroom instead of soap? Bit sus!

Couple's Great Overnight Stop
We stayed overnight, as we had booked a meal at a nearby spot. Our newly redecorated room was very boutique with a VERY comfy bed. Got to have a night cap & chat with John the owner after dinner.
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable for what we got.
